no i dont have the xrays. idk where they are, thought about it a while ago. i should txt my surgeon
el-aquelarre asked: I used to have the same problem, now i have titanium screws in my maxilar and in my jaw, i think is cool because i like sci-fi, bionics and that kind of thinks. i´m glad you have now your jaw in the correct position .
yh im glad too. althought the physical and psychological healing are processes which shouldnt be underestimated. surgery made my face look completely different. a my facial structures changed, ppl didnt recognise me on the street. it was a nice and weird sensation at the same time.
Anonymous asked: woah what happened that caused you such injuries?
hm no injuries. i had a lower jaw bone that had grown too fast in my adolescence and my upper had grown too slow. i got both readjusted and have over 10 platinum screws in my bones now. im half a cyborg, very creepy especially on xrays.
strvnge-thinker asked: hey really interesting blog, since your title is neuromancer have you read the book, I remember someone mention it to me long ago just curious on your review.
yes it was the original inspiration for blogging. i listened to the audiobook while being in recovery from facial surgery years ago. i was on morphine for the first days, i think the phrases emerged to the deepest parts of my brain. i listened to the story repeatedly but without hearing the entire story but just parts of it because i was drifting.
neuromancer and i have a weird relation.
ofsi asked: what type of music do you think would be fitting for the atmosphere you create with your blog?
hm i listen to music from dadub, portishead, björk and massive attack mainly. always gets me in the right mood for blogging. sometimes also harder techno e.g from luke slater.
